How To Beat Anxiety

Hey guys! As most of you probably know already, my name is Ryan. I’m 20 years old and for as long as I can remember I have suffered from anxiety – mainly regarding social interaction. So in this post I’d like to share with you some of the common day to day things that people with anxiety deal with, and how I personally have managed to overcome some of those difficulties.

If you had of met me 2 years ago, you would never believe that I could be as happy and successful as I am today. 2 years ago, I had very few friends, was single, could not get a job – mainly due to nerves and fear. I could barely even look a person in the eye, let alone talk to them. I was a complete wreck and was also dealing with depression. I used to drink most nights because it made me feel slightly better and helped me to stop thinking about all of my problems. I had no idea what to do with my life. Sometimes I couldn’t even leave the house due to fear and anxiousness.

Today, I have an awesome job, loads of friends, an amazing girlfriend, my own place, a car and plenty of confidence! I’m currently working as a Health & Safety officer – which requires me to talk to and deal with quite a few people every day, including talking over the phone – which previously was something that I simply could not do. So how did I go from having my life completely run by my anxiety, to being a perfectly happy and capable member of society? Read on and I’ll tell you a bit more about my story but first, for those who don’t quite understand, I’d like to give a brief overview of what Anxiety actually IS and some of the things people dealing with anxiety go through.

CCLeaner Removes All The Junk From Your PC

Over time, you may notice that your computer starts to run slower and not perform as well as it did when you first bought it. This is because every time you use your computer, small amounts of information are saved and slowly build up which can slow your PC down and even make it crash. For example, whenever you visit a website, the site saves a small amount of information on your computer to remember your settings, or to make the page load faster the next time you visit.

So what are we to do about this inevitable build up of junk? Are we supposed to just let our computers slowly get worse and worse? Thankfully, there are many programs out there which can remove this junk and make your computer run like new again. One of my favourite programs for cleaning my computer is CCLeaner.

How To Prevent Virus’s By Finding Out Where A Link Leads Before You Click

Computer viruses. In today’s society, it seems almost everyone will come across one at some point or another. Other than using a good antivirus program, there are some precautions you can take in order to minimize your risk.

One way that I have repeatedly seen malicious software be distributed is through Tinylinks. A Tinylink is where you take a long URL and shorten it using a tinylink service. The service can be quite helpful, however the Tinylink URL does not give any clues as to what the website it is leading to contains.

A handy tool for taking precautions when it comes to tinylinks is URLXray. This website can go ahead and check to see were a tinylink leads, before you click it. That way, you can find out if the link leads to an unsafe website before you click!

To use URLXray, simply visit the website, copy/paste the tinylink into the space provided and then hit enter. The website will then search the link and let you know where it leads!

How To Achieve More By Doing Less

When I ask people what their resolutions are, they always give me really big plans like “I’m going to learn to play guitar”, or “I’m going to save ten thousand dollars”, but how come we never hear anyone answer with something simple, like “I’m going to stop slouching”, “I’m going to floss every day” or “I’m going to stop having late night snacks”?

These things are more realistic and easier to adopt, yet everyone seems to want to go with big, grand resolutions that will take a very long time to complete. Does having these smaller goals make you less of a person? Does it make you feel like you’re achieving less? It shouldn’t. Taking small, but gradual steps is one of the best ways to get us to where we need to be, rather than giant bounding steps that leave us out of breath. Read on to learn how to achieve more by doing less below.
