I’ve received a few questions recently, following my post on How To Make Ring Tones for Your iPhone, asking if it is possible to create an iTunes Store Account without a credit card. I looked into it and discovered a simple way to make an account without one!

Step 1. Open iTunes & Select Your Language
The first step is to select your language. To do this, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the small language icon.
Step 2. Go To The App Store
The next step is to select the “App Store” from the top menu.
Step 3. Select A Free App
Locate the “Free Apps” section on the right hand side of the page. Select an app, and click the small “FREE” icon which appears once you hover over the app.
Step 4. Create A New Account
Once you have selected a free app, a popup will…. pop up (AWWW YEEAAAH!) asking you to “Sign In To Download From The iTunes Store”. Click on “Create New Account”.
Step 5. Click Continue
This step is probably the most difficult step that has ever been made. To complete this step, you must click “Continue”.
Step 6. Accept The Terms & Conditions
Being the good citizen that you are (cough), at this point you must read the novel that is the Terms & Conditions. Good luck! Once you’ve finished, click “I have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions”, then click “Agree”.
Step 7. Enter Your Details
Enter your personal details here, including your email address, and a password that you would like to use for your iTunes Store Account.
Step 8. Select A Payment Method
At this point you want to click “None”. Enter your billing details (Don’t worry, you will not be charged), then click “Create Apple ID”.
Step 9. Verify Your Apply ID
The next step is to verify your Apple ID by going to your emails and clicking on the link that Apple sends you.
Done! That is how you Create An iTunes Store Account Without A Credit Card!
